On October 15th, our team is honouring International Pronouns Day to celebrate the rich diversity of gender identities and expressions within ourselves and among those around us.

Using correct pronouns is a simple but powerful way to foster respect and inclusivity. Whether you use someone else’s correct pronouns or ask others to use yours, both affirm gender identity and honor our shared humanity.

In a previous commentary, our team also highlighted the importance of pronouns as an important public health issue. Using correct pronous and trans-inclusive language in the workplace can significantly enhance the well-beings of trans and gender-diverse employees.
